About me

My investigative journey began with a Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology in the Netherlands and Hong Kong and continued with a Master's of Arts in Comparative Literature in Germany and Mexico. From 2017 until 2019, I learned Systemic Coaching and Resilience and Stress Management Coaching at different institutes in Berlin. I studied Biodynamic Psychology and Body Psychotherapy, according to Gerda Boyesen, with Ebba and Mona-Lisa Boyesen in Hamburg between 2020 and 2024.

Based on what I have learned over the years, I have integrated elements from Biodynamic Body Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with coaching and embodiment methods. My studies on the functioning of the nervous system and its interaction with the rest of the body, psychosomatics, neuroplasticity and learning, as well as concepts of personality psychology and individuation serve as a theoretical framework. Methods from courses in communication and mediation, as well as different yoga movement and breathing practices have also become an integral part of my work.

The mind - Body Connection

I have always been fascinated by the way the mind and body interact. On my quest to understand this interaction, I have passed through academia, science, theoretical and philosophical frameworks, practical courses, and many real life experiences. In my work with clients, I integrate those aspects that I have experienced to be helpful in bringing us closer to our core selves, making us alive and life meaningful. For me, a real change towards becoming alive and balanced, towards finding deep inner transformation, requires a holistic approach, one that works not only with the mind, but also with the body – the vehicle through which we become truly alive.

Intercultural &   Culture - Sensitive

My life journey has taken me to different parts of the globe. I lived abroad for the first time when I was sixteen and have been an expat for a large part of my adult life. Living abroad poses specific challenges, at the core of which lies the need to communicate and connect to people who understand how we see the world. Knowing this, I want to accompany clients in a culture-sensitive way, with open eyes and a wide perspective. I offer sessions in English, German, and Spanish. To me, the humanistic approach and a focus on the unfolding of each client's unique resources are key to establishing a feeling of safety and connectedness in the context of the sessions.
